Owner invites sealed Bidder’s Proposals for the Work described in detail in the Contract and generally described as follows:

The District invites bids for five (5) projects to control invasive herbaceous and woody plants.  The work for these Projects is hourly and shall include all labor, materials, and equipment to complete control of project-specific selected invasive plants.  All projects are to be bid individually.

Project 1.   Grainger Woods Conservation Preserve, Mettawa, Illinois

Project 2.   Middlefork Savanna Forest Preserve, Lake Forest, Illinois

Project 3.   Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve, Highland Park, Illinois

Project 4.   Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve, Lake Zurich, Illinois

            Project 5.    Teasel (Dipsacus spp.) Control Only, at but not limited to Nippersink,                                      Grainger, Independence Grove, Wadsworth, Lake Carina, and Heron                                        Creek Forest Preserves.
